Background

I made my first website in 1997 after Mrs. Kirkpatrick helped me realize what I wanted to do with my life. From that point on, I immersed myself in everything computers, the internet, and graphic design. It was graphic design that influenced my decision to attend art school two years later. Meanwhile, the web and its technologies were exploding. Print design was no longer enough for me. Armed with a graphic design background, I set out to learn as much as I could about the web and designing for it. At the same time, I pursued a deeper understanding of graphic design and what it means to communicate visually. This eventually led me to receiving my Degree in Communications. I haven't stopped since. Everyday I continue to improve my skills and understanding. Today I work as a graphic/web designer for Property Line. A great company with great people, doing what I love to do. Good stuff.

About This Site

This site, now in it's second version, will always be a work in progress. As the web grows and matures, and new technologies that enhance the experience are created, so will this site. In it's current state, the site is built with Rails 2.3. VPS hosting is provided by the smart folks over at linode.com. Completely standards compliant, it is created with HTML, CSS, and a sprinkling of javascript(jQuery).
